Position Overview

Ready to Make an impact? We are looking for a Demand Planner who will work closely with Category Managers to review forecast results and make forward-looking recommendations on opportunities in their respective category.

You will also work with sourcing, category management, marketing, process optimization and go-to-market functions to understand forecasts and trends;

and support testing, implementation, training, and adoption of the Ocado platform.

Shift Availability

This position is based at our office located in Montreal Quebec. Shift available :

• Monday to Friday (12 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
• Monday to Friday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
• Sunday to Thursday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

Key Responsibilities

Here’s where you’ll be focusing :

• Understand the demand for respective categories.
• Manage accurate demand forecasts that incorporate current and relevant market information to predict customer demand and provide buying team with the right information to plan to meet that demand.
• Develop reports to determine priorities and areas of opportunity and confirm / communicate results; creates ad hoc reports as necessary.
• Identify forecast accuracy root causes and refine processes to ensure continuous improvement of the overall process.
• Support the company’s long-term strategy and inventory reduction while maintaining high customer service levels.
• Coordinate seasonal forecasts and plans with merchandising, suppliers, and distribution teams.
• Propose sales forecasts based on observations, knowledge, and assessments; collaborate with partners to refine forecasts.
• Track projections and recommend appropriate actions to achieve service level metrics.
• Accountable for ensuring forecast accuracy.

What You Have to Offer

• Understanding of supply chain and business.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in forecast management, statistical analysis, procurement, or logistics.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with fresh products or groceries.
