UAP HVLongueuil, Québec, Canada- Full-time
As a Demand and Inventory Planner, you will play a central role in optimizing demand planning and inventory management for our 42 Traction stores and 4 TW distribution centers. You will work closely with sales, operations, marketing, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure product availability while minimizing slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze inventory items to optimize the assortment that meets market needs;
- Propose adjustments to supply parameters and the introduction of new products to maximize sales;
- Collaborate with market managers, regional sales and operations teams, logistics, and procurement to organize product flows related to launches, store openings, and strategic projects;
- Approve replenishment requests and analyze risks associated with adding non-performing inventory;
- Conduct proactive analyses to reduce obsolete and slow-moving stock;
- Work with market managers to develop accurate forecasts integrated into the overall planning;
- Define seasonal profiles by category and region based on sales history.
Qualifications
Profile sought
- Degree in operations management, logistics, mathematics, industrial engineering, or a related field;
- Proven experience in inventory management, demand planning, or procurement, ideally in distribution or retail;
- Proficiency with software tools such as advanced Excel, ERP, Access, Power BI, and demand planning software;
- Strong knowledge of demand forecasting methods, inventory management, and sales data analysis.
