Job Type : Permanent, Full-time
Hours (Afternoons) : 2 : 15pm - 11 : 30pm (flexibility as needed), Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed
Work Location : Onsite (Milton, ON)
Hourly Rate : $19.57
What You\u2019ll Be Doing :
Full accountability of critical control point baking parameters and final quality check before packaging.Ensuring compliance with documentation for the line and area.Obtain OEE (uptime and waste) goals.Place temporary employees in correct position in order to optimize performance.Assist other employees required in order to meet production needs.Maintain a constant level of communication with other departments to ensure alignment and material flow.Scanning and reporting.Able to efficiently load and unload Ovens.Understands how to tray and bake crumb and operate the crumb sifter.Able to correctly bake all blossoms, cake, and pie products.Able to maintain pace and speed with lines.Understands how to make correct time or temperature adjustments.Understands how to place work orders and set Oven parameters.Able to train General Labourers on tasks.Other tasks as assigned.What We\u2019re Looking For :
High School Diploma or equivalent.2-3 years of Food Manufacturing experience.Strong attention to detail.Collaborative work style.Bonus Points If You Have :
Dessert Manufacturing Facility or Bakery experience.Strong BRC (or similar GFSI) knowledge or experience.Strong knowledge of WHMIS, Chemical Handling, HACCP, GMP, OHSA and regulatory requirements.In compliance with Bill 190, we confirm that this job posting is for an existing vacancy within our organization.
