With a provincial headquarters and training centre in Regina, SJA operates across Saskatchewan with additional facilities in Saskatoon, Lloydminster, Prince Albert and Yorkton.
As Saskatchewan’s leader in First Aid & CPR we are seeking a dynamic, forward‑thinking and innovative professional to be our next Director of Learning (DoL).
The DoL is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to over 200 instructors across Saskatchewan ensuring SJA standards are being achieved and that learners attain the skills they are seeking. In addition, the DoL works collaboratively with our five training centres to coordinate learning logistics and goals, quality control, and outcomes. The DoL works closely with our community services and operations departments to support their needs in achieving our charitable mission. The DoL also serves as a member of the provincial management team and helps set the strategic direction for the organization. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership to over 200 instructors across Saskatchewan
Coordinate learning logistics and goals, quality control, and outcomes with five training centres
Collaborate with community services and operations departments to support charitable mission
Serve as a member of the provincial management team and help set strategic direction
Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer
Qualifications
Forward‑thinking learning and development leader with strong understanding of adult learning
Experience with digital learning technologies and best practices
Extensive history of achieving strong learning outcomes likely in occupational health and safety, emergency services or public education sectors
Diploma or degree in a related discipline is an asset
Location and Travel
This is a full‑time in‑office position based in the Regina provincial headquarters. Occasional travel across the province is required.
