Maintenance Lead – Automotive Stamping

Location : Scarborough, ON

Pay Rate : $51.00 per hour + overtime

Schedule : Full-time | Days Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to support and lead maintenance operations in a high-volume automotive stamping facility . This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and guiding a skilled maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians (mechanical, electrical, and automation)
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities, priorities, and work assignments
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain stamping presses, dies, conveyors, robotics, and auxiliary equipment
• Respond to breakdowns and production issues with a strong sense of urgency
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
• Support die changeovers and press setups as required
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and OHSA regulations
• Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance staff; provide technical guidance and leadership
• Work closely with production, engineering, and tooling teams to improve equipment performance
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
