HCA / Support Worker

Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers / HCA to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. This role involves supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, dementia care, medication administration, and caregiving responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
• Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document accordingly
• Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
• Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including toileting and transfers
• Support clients with mobility challenges or disabilities, ensuring safety at all times
• Follow care plans accurately and adapt support based on individual requirements
