Job Description / Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain NonStop COBOL and SCOBOL applications in an L Series environment.
• Build and enhance online server components (approx. 80% focus) and batch server solutions (approx. 20%).
• Implement and maintain DDL definitions, data structures, and file systems.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams using Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand ups.
• Document solutions using JIRA and Confluence.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance in NonStop environments.
• Leverage GenAI / LLM tools for efficiency in analysis, development, and documentation (minimum 1 year experience).
• Work closely with architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and support.
