What We Have

We currently have a v1 version of our AI insights platform for a few medical and medical adjacent use cases that uses a combination of our ML pipeline, LLM summarization models and RAG / Context engineering to extract key information on medical claims.

Role Summary

We're seeking an AI Insights Tech Lead to work directly with customers to understand capability gaps, architect a more powerful and scalable AI insights engine, and lead a small team of engineers within this product team.

What you'll be doing

• Developing robust, scalable APIs in Python (Django and Fast API)
• Collaborating with other technical stakeholders and leaders to actively work towards the design and implementation of systems.
• Ensuring the reliability and scalability of our AI Insights platform
• Building ML / AI adjacent systems with AI engineering tooling (RAG, AI workflows, Evals, etc)
• Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as projects develop, adjust and mature.

Compensation

Our target base salary range for this role is  $180,000 - $230,000 CAD. This range reflects the full growth journey within the role — from building and developing skills early on, to becoming highly proficient and ultimately achieving excellence. Where an offer lands within the range is based on your experience, skills, and impact, which we assess throughout the hiring process.
