Salary
In addition to regular wages, regular Wage employees receive 11.6% in lieu of benefits and vacation leave :

Kinbrook Island Provincial Park : popular destination for camping and outdoor recreation; lake, beach area, surrounding marshes and large campground provide many outdoor activities such as boating, swimming, sunbathing, fishing, hiking, bird watching and more.
Tillebrook Provincial Park : oasis on the prairie and popular campground for locals, avid bird watchers and those that love a beautiful prairie sunset.
Dinosaur Provincial Park (DPP) : located 48 km NE of Brooks, Alberta; rich in cultural and natural heritage; UNESCO World Heritage Site attracting visitors worldwide to experience the landscape of the badlands, its rich fossil resources, and riparian habitat.

Role Responsibilities
If you enjoy working outside and are committed to improving a visitor’s experience, join our Maintenance Team at Kinbrook Island, Tillebrook and Dinosaur Provincial Parks.
We are looking for highly motivated, well‑organized, responsible Maintenance Workers for the 2026 summer season. You will be part of a team accountable for providing regular maintenance and operational duties that support the day‑to‑day operation of campgrounds, day use areas, facilities and trail systems.
We Are Currently Looking To Hire :
As a Park Maintenance Service Worker (MSW1)
Please note that Caretaking services and Park Maintenance are rolled into one work unit at Kinbrook Island and Tillebrook Parks. Expect to perform general caretaking and general Park Maintenance duties at these locations.
As The Park Maintenance Worker 2 (MSW2)
As The Park Maintenance Crew Lead (MSW3)
All positions will require you to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. You have the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and will be paid for number of hours worked. You must have good physical stamina to be able to perform manual duties outdoors and in any type of weather conditions, rain or shine.

Qualifications
Education and Experience required
Park Maintenance Worker 1 – Some high school education. Equivalency : Directly related experience considered on the basis of 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
Park Maintenance Worker 2 – Some high school education and 1 year of related experience. Equivalency : Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; OR 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
Park Maintenance Crew Lead – Some high school education, related training and 2 years of related experience. Equivalency : Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; OR 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
