Senior Staff - US Tax

Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional planning and advice on cross border structures and compliance
• Being a key contributor to the growth of a new US Tax group, and contributing to tax planning and client management initiatives
• Providing both technical and project management support on U.S. Personal and Corporate Tax projects
• Researching, interpreting tax legislation, formulating solutions and providing suggestions
• Identifying and recommending creative solutions to tax issues
• Bringing to the attention of the Manager or Tax Partner, any significant issues or findings, along with recommendations.

Discussing matters with the Assurance Partner if required.

• Acting in the capacity of Development Advisor to specific US tax staff, provide support and development, if deemed appropriate
• Preparing all types of US tax returns
• Assistance to other offices of the Firm as required

Requirements :

• Graduate of a University Accounting Program, or equivalent
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation
• 3-5 years of work experience with US Taxation
• Thorough understanding of the Internal Revenue Code.
