Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional planning and advice on cross border structures and compliance
- Being a key contributor to the growth of a new US Tax group, and contributing to tax planning and client management initiatives
- Providing both technical and project management support on U.S. Personal and Corporate Tax projects
- Researching, interpreting tax legislation, formulating solutions and providing suggestions
- Identifying and recommending creative solutions to tax issues
- Bringing to the attention of the Manager or Tax Partner, any significant issues or findings, along with recommendations.
Discussing matters with the Assurance Partner if required.
- Acting in the capacity of Development Advisor to specific US tax staff, provide support and development, if deemed appropriate
- Preparing all types of US tax returns
- Assistance to other offices of the Firm as required
Requirements :
- Graduate of a University Accounting Program, or equivalent
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation
- 3-5 years of work experience with US Taxation
- Thorough understanding of the Internal Revenue Code.
