Job description

Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for Full-time and Part-time Security Guards in Etobicoke Shoppers Drugs Mart, Ontario .

A STRONG CANDIDATE WITH GOOD COMMUNICATION.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Enforce regulations of establishments.
  • Visitor Access Control.
  • Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
  • Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems).
  • Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
  • Monitor security cameras.
  • Operate security control room equipment.
  • Patrolling.
  • Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
  • Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
  • Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
  • Report writing.

Qualifications, Required License, or Certification :

  • Valid Security Guard License
  • CPR Level C Certified.
  • Must be available to do shift work

    • The Ideal Candidate will possess :

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional work ethics.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs site-specific.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • Willing to travel 40-50 kilometers to work if needed.
