C&A Group is actively recruiting Industrial Mechanics (Millwrights) and Helpers to join our rapidly
expanding and dynamic team of Millwright professionals in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

Wage : Base Journey-person Rate - Up to $42.00 / hr

Millwrights and Millwright Helpers are required to perform some or all the following duties :
o Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
o Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment,
such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, and generators according to layout plans.
o Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes and jacks to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery.
o Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
o Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
o Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
o Track and tension belts and chains as required for the purposes of conveying product or driving equipment.
o Operate machine tools such as lathes and milling machines to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.
o Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
o Construct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundations.
o Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
o Have a strong willingness to coach and mentor other trades-persons as directed or required.
