Job description

Part‑Time Elementary English & Math Teacher / Tutor

Oxford Learning Bayview Woods is seeking a part‑time English & Math teacher / tutor to work after‑school and evenings (4 : 00–8 : 00 pm) and Saturdays (10 : 00 am–3 : 00 pm).

Responsibilities

Teach up to three students at different levels
Deliver interactive, pre‑planned lessons in person
Fill in post‑lesson notes and maintain daily communication updates
Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or similar in a relevant field

Teaching certification an asset

Some experience teaching / tutoring at K–12 level

Strong written and oral English communication skills

Strong math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding

Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time

Schedule & Compensation

Evenings 4 : 00–8 : 00 pm, Monday–Thursday

Saturday availability

Salary $18–$20 per hour

Location

207‑5915 Leslie Street, North York, ON. Applicants must reside in or within a short commute of the Bayview Woods area.
