Job Summary
TheHousekeeper at Phoenix Society performs heavy to light cleaning duties toensure that the suitesand common areas in the facility are in a clean and orderly condition, working in tandem with other janitorial staff and volunteers. Keyresponsibilities include : cleaning floors; shampooing rugs; washing walls and windows;removing garbage; cleaning appliances; and notifying management when anysupplies or repairs are required.

Successful completion of Grade 121to 3 years of related experience providing custodial and / or housekeepingservicesRelatedpost-secondary and WHMIS training is an assetValidClass 5 driver’s license is requiredSatisfactorycompletion of a criminal records check with vulnerable sector screening isrequiredSatisfactorycompletion of Tuberculosis Screening form is requiredSatisfactorycompletion of Employee Immunization Record form is requiredFirstAid certification with CPR is requiredSkills & Knowledge
