Position :
- Architectural designer (Residential)
- Hybrid remote after training (3 days in office / 2 days work from home)
Responsibilities :
- Work as an Architectural designer to create plans and perform related tasks in a fast paced environment
- Assist in growing position and services beyond what is currently offered
- Able to excel in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing workloads
- Complete other duties as directed by Office manager
- Communication and interaction with clients to incorporate their requests into a plan
- Team player with a focus on creativity, quality & customer service
- Excellent time management, oral and written communication skills
Experience Required :
- Sr. Designer (Min. 5 years Part 3 / 9 OBC & / or Residential design in office work experience
- Int. Designer (Min. 3-5 years Part 3 / 9 OBC & / or Residential design in office work experience
- Jr. Designer (min. 1 year Part 3 / 9 OBC & / or Residential design in office or Co-op work experience
- Building material knowledge
- Softplan / AutoCAD / Revit experience
- Construction experience (asset)
Education Required :
- Architectural Technology diploma (please include transcript if applying for Jr. Designer position)
- Heating, Refrigeration, Ventilation and Air Conditioning certificate (asset)
