JOB STATEMENT :
The Director, Strategy role will work closely with the EVP, Strategy & Advisor Experience to assess IDC WIN business needs, collaborate on initiatives across the organization and follow through to execution and implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- The Director, Strategy role will engage in the execution of initiatives that aim to support and improve the experience for IDC WIN advisors.
- Responsibilities will include engagement in the long-term IDC WIN strategic plan; framework, measurement and execution.
- As a business generalist with a well-rounded skillset including financial acumen, project management, creative problem solving and internal / external collaboration this important role will be a key piece of the evolution of our MGA.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Post secondary education or equivalent experience
- Experience in strategy and execution-based role(s)
- Past engagement in short-, medium-, and long-term project cycles
- Thorough understanding of the life insurance sales cycle, value chain and the role of financial advisors
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Highly organized, process-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with full Microsoft suite and adjacent software platforms
