HMP Highpoint Library and Information Advisor

Suffolk Libraries is an independent and charitable society which runs Suffolk’s public library service and prison libraries in several counties including Suffolk, Bedfordshire and Nottinghamshire

We are looking for someone who shares this vision and wants to join our team at HMP Highpoint, a category C men’s prison in Suffolk.

• Has sufficient emotional resilience to work in what can be a challenging but highly rewarding environment

The successful applicant will be required to undergo Prison security vetting checks before any appointment can be confirmed

The vacancy is for 13.25 hours per week :

Monday : 8.00-15.30 - 7 hours (half-hour unpaid break)

Tuesday : 10.15-17.00 / 12.30-19.15 - 6.25 hours (half-hour unpaid break)

The rate of pay for this position commences at £10.42 per hour.
