Process Engineer

One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a Process Engineer for their facility in GTA ON location.

Shift - Days

Pay Rate - $80k-$85k

Key Responsibilities :

Develop monitor and optimize plastic manufacturing processes (e.g. injection molding extrusion blow molding thermoforming).

Analyze process parameters and production data to improve efficiency yield and cycle times.

Troubleshoot process issues related to quality defects equipment performance and material behavior.

Support new product introduction (NPI) by establishing process parameters documentation and validation.

Collaborate with production quality maintenance and R&D teams to ensure smooth operations.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies).

Ensure compliance with safety environmental and quality standards.

Prepare and maintain process documentation work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Support cost reduction initiatives through material optimization and waste reduction.

Qualifications & Experience :

Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Polymer Engineering Plastics Engineering or a related field.

3 5 years of experience in a process engineering role within a plastic manufacturing or related industrial environment.

Hands-on experience with plastic processing techniques such as injection molding extrusion or blow molding.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
