Parts Advisor / Technician

We are looking for an exceptional Parts Advisor / Technician to join our team in Yorkton, AB .
Experience as Parts Technician or Parts Advisor would be preferred (agriculture experience isn't required but would be a bonus).
A knowledge of AGCO brands and / or Morris would be considered an asset.
What makes the role exciting and what does it involve?
- Acting as an advisor to clients to educate them on the parts they need and related parts they should consider or may need.
- Sourcing and recommending parts to clients on a wide range of agriculture equipment and brands such as :
- Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Rogator, Cub Cadet, Caterpillar agriculture products and more;
- Large agriculture equipment to lawn and garden equipment (the type of equipment can vary by region); and,
- Skid steer loaders, loaders, telehandlers and excavators.
- Managing and sourcing parts from electrical, hydraulics, engines, transmissions, etc.
- Working the front or back counter as necessary, depending on the traffic flow of the business.
- Answering customer inquiries over the phone or through e-mail.
- Responding to customers in a timely manner and keeping a record of quotes that can be accessed by other team members.
- Inventory counts as needed.
What are we looking for?
- Journeyperson Parts Technician certification or 5 years of experience as a Parts Technician / Parts Advisor / Parts Person or similar position.
- Experience with AGCO brands and / or Bourgault
- Strong aptitude to understand technical requirements from clients and provide solutions.
- Proficient with sourcing parts for a wide range of equipment and applications.
- Good computer skills to use a range of different sites.
- Focus on client satisfaction and building long-term relationships to keep our clients coming back.
- Demonstrate and be comfortable suggesting other solutions that a client may need or related parts for repairs.
- Some flexibility to work on-call during busy seasons
