Crypto Platform Engineer

The Team

Crypto Product and Engineering team is responsible for leading cryptographic security and cross-functional product teams to accelerate the build of global security services, advance engineering capabilities, and work with global technology and business partners to lead foundational and transformational security products strategically across the enterprise.

The Role

As a Crypto Platform Engineer, you will be a core member of the Crypto Engineering pillar, responsible for providing technology operations support for the deployment of cryptographic security products across the enterprise, in collaboration with various business lines, IT support teams, and Information Security & Control functions.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will :

• Lead technology operations support for the Crypto Security Platform, resolving complex technical challenges to ensure platform security and resilience.
• Serve as a Level 3 escalation point, troubleshooting and resolving incidents related to the Crypto Security Platform.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including self-service libraries, best practices, configuration runbooks, playbooks, and incident / problem management guides.
• Support operational activities such as change request creation, server patching, software currency upgrades, regression testing, and Disaster Backup & Recovery (DBR) testing.
• Lead implementations across production and non-production environments by developing implementation checklists and executing hands‑on systems integration for Crypto Platforms, including HSM devices.
• Demonstrate personal accountability for assigned projects, initiatives, and daily operations, consistently delivering results with minimal guidance.
• Foster a positive work environment with highly motivated individuals focused on reducing risk within the bank.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Capabilities Engineers to provide technical support for solutions in steady‑state operations.
• Provide technical mentorship to Senior Associate Crypto Platform Engineers, sharing best practices for working with Crypto Operations and Application teams.
• Support audit, compliance, and IT risk teams in remediating risk‑related issues.
• Drive continuous, iterative improvements across team processes and procedures, aligning with the bank’s risk appetite and risk culture.
