ABOUT THE ROLE
This opportunity will be working closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers to manage purchases, control costs, reduce risks, and achieve critical corporate goals.
The projects my client handles are diverse, focusing on complex service delivery in areas such as automotive insurance claims, health services, information technology, and professional services.
They are looking for an experienced procurement leader to develop and implement complex sourcing strategies, lead and mentor teams on procurement projects, spearhead contract management initiatives, and manage supplier relationships.
This leader will play a key role in guiding our procurement teams through significant divisional and organizational transformations while making a positive impact within the leadership team.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Leading a team of experts to provide in-depth category knowledge and proactively identify opportunities for stakeholders across the organization.
- Implementing top-tier strategic sourcing to drive profitable growth and deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Shaping key strategic decisions through effective storytelling, influential thought leadership, and a consultative approach.
- Utilizing advanced skills in data analysis, market research, sourcing, and managing relationships and contracts.
- Leading significant contract negotiations, strategic sourcing efforts, cross-functional projects, risk management, and cost-saving initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS :
- 4+ Years experience of Strategic / Procurement of services sadly experience in procurement of products will not be considered.
- Exceptional communication skills to secure buy-in and support for procurement strategies from internal customers and senior management
- Strong negotiation abilities to achieve the best value in pricing, terms, and conditions for acquisitions
- Expertise in managing critical contracts within business areas, including professional services, information technology, and insurance claims suppliers.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing direct reports and working with diverse teams.
- Experience in public sector sourcing at the Federal, Provincial, or Municipal level.
COMPENSATION :
- $100,000-$125,000
- 4 Weeks Vacation
