The Product Managers must have ARO for driving the vision outlined by the Solution and Development Directors and ensuring overall requirements and product readiness.
Some key focus areas for ARO include :
- Manages the product backlog to ensure readiness and priority
- Works closely with the business analyst and development team to ensure features are built according to specifications
- Epic level creation with detailed Acceptance criteria
- Write high level business requirements
- Education and Requirement hand-off to Business Analyst
- Stakeholder Management gathering feedback from stakeholders and users to continuously refine the product backlog and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensures the team focuses on features that provide the most value to the business or customer
- Monitor product performance, setting KPIs, and ensuring the product meets business goals
- Identify potential risks and create contingency plans to be review with Product Managers and stakeholders
- Contributes to :
o Scope Management decisions with Solution Director
o Demos & documentation
o Working closely with UX / UI designers to ensure the product delivers expected user experience which could include gathering user feedback
o Market research and trends pertaining to product
