Manual Machinist

Are you a Manual Machinist with a background in performing repair work / fabricating parts without blueprints?

Our client in Cambridge is looking to add to their busy team!

In this role you will be :

• fabricating replacements parts
• working with a variety of materials
• repairing gear boxes (press fit repair)
• shaft repairs
• working with tight time lines

Day shift, 7am-3pm M-F (OT and weekends may be required for some projects)

$25-$39 / hourly depending on experience

2 weeks vacation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent experience on conventional machines, both lathe and mill
• previous experience performing repair work
• able to work within tight time lines
• Mastercam experience is ideal
• familiar working in a job shop environment
