Location : Immediate start in Halifax, NS (this is an in-person role)
Job Type : Full time is our preference to really get the most out of this opportunity however there is an option for part time dependent on hours of availability.
Vibe Marketing is looking to grow our events team this month and are on the look out for 3 additional Events Assistants to help us with events and retail promotions across the Halifax area.
Our Events Assistants help our clients improve their brand awareness, enhance their reputation, and increase their market share at in person events across Halifax and the surrounding areas.
If you have a background in retail, hospitality, restaurants, bars, cafes, catering or similar customer-facing roles, we’d love to hear from you today!
Although prior experience is beneficial, we are quite happy to train the right people from scratch through our award winning training program.
You’ll get a chance to learn as you earn, all while making a tangible impact on the team from day one.
Responsibilities :
- Working on behalf of our clients at our face-to-face private site events
- Assisting in new customer acquisition and increasing market share through face-to-face new customer sign ups
- Representing our clients and achieving customer retention through multiple face to face interactions with new and existing customers
- Completion of a handful of sales including the collection of new customer personal details
- Promoting a client’s products and services to the public (face-to-face)
- Providing general customer service assistance and handling concerns
- Answering questions and overcoming objections when applicable

Job Requirements :
Just a few requirements :
- You must be 18+ years of age and eligible to work in Canada
- You must be willing to work with customers face-to-face at one of our retail, in-store events
- Commuting to our office in Halifax is required on a daily basis
- Full-time availability is preferred, and an immediate start is ideal
