The Events Assistant will support the event planning team in all aspects of event coordination and execution. This role involves assisting with logistical tasks, communication with clients and vendors, and ensuring events run smoothly from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for events, and a proactive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including coordinating logistics, schedules, and vendor management.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and the event team to ensure all details are addressed.
- Maintain event timelines and checklists, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Set up event venues, ensuring all materials and equipment are prepared and organized.
- Provide on-site support during events, including managing registrations, guest services, and troubleshooting.
- Perform administrative tasks such as managing event budgets, preparing reports, and updating databases.
- Handle post-event tasks, including follow-up communications and assisting with feedback collection.

- Proven experience in event coordination or a similar administrative role (preferably within event management or hospitality).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle unexpected challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating memorable events.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
