YapCX - Montreal’s leading Forex and Bitcoin Exchange - is seeking a full-time Store Operations Manager to join our team.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the exchange and ensuring a highly productive team in a positive work environment;
- Adjusting rates, float management, review trades, and providing support and assistance to the teller(s) / customer service associate(s) on duty throughout the business day;
Maintain a high level of customer service, ensure excellent customer experience and reviews, and address complaints promptly and professionally.
- Updating, standardizing, and creating new procedures, policies, and manuals where needed;
- Monitory sales regularly to identify new trends and opportunities for growing our customer base;
- Scheduling and leading bi-weekly teller meetings and staying in close contact and sharing information with the teller / customer service associate team to effectively service clients, cultivate customer relationships, and ensure excellent customer service;
- Assisting with daily compliance tasks such as transaction monitoring, assessing, reviewing, and report submissions;
- Work closely with the Compliance Officer and manage day to day compliance monitoring;
- Updating, organizing, and maintaining the monthly schedule of tellers;
- Assisting in maintaining and managing YapCX’s CRM and website;
- Ensure that security procedures are followed and conduct teller performance reviews;
- Provide Bitcoin education, knowledge transfer, and training to employees and our customer base;
- Reviewing and maintain the store inventory;
Other tasks as needed.

You are fluent in French and English and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
You have strong leadership skills, are reliable and have the ability to execute quickly and efficiently.
You have the ability to take initiative and foresee company needs and help improve process / structure.
You have exceptional analytical and logical reasoning skills.
You exhibit strong attention to detail and concern for quantitative accuracy.
You are trustworthy, reliable, and a quick learner able to function well autonomously as well as part of a high functioning team.
You enjoy and take pride in providing excellent customer service experience and are good at proposing and implementing new metrics to improve our user’s experiences.

Qualifications
University degree preferred.
Prior 4-10 years of experience working in a senior managerial role and / or operational role at a high performing company, startup, fintech, and / or mid size organization.
Must have excellent project management and time management skills.
Is knowledgeable and passionate about foreign currency, Bitcoin and digital currencies more generally is a big plus.
