ABOUT THIS POSITION :

Title : Project Coordinator (intermediate)

Industry : ICI Construction, $10-30M Commercial and Light Industrial projects

Location : Surrey / Hybrid - On-site, in-office, & remote / WFH

Compensation : $60-80K

Purpose of this role : The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting our construction projects, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.

This position demands a blend of technical expertise, organizational finesse, and a proactive approach to project management.

THE OPPORTUNITY :

As a Project Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of our projects, collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to drive successful project outcomes.

Your responsibilities will span from technical support to administrative tasks, ensuring projects progress efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate brings about 2 years of project coordinator experience in Construction company, ideally within General Contracting or Steel projects.

The team values excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn and grow, and a genuine passion for the construction industry.

We're aiming for an ideal start in early to mid-May.

As a Project Coordinator, you will :

  • Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and specifications.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Conduct site visits as required, providing on-site support and oversight.
  • Support the project manager in coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and other project contributors.

YOU ARE / HAVE :

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator within a Construction Company (required)
  • A degree in Engineering or Construction
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in software such as Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A vehicle for on-site days.
