In-Game Hosts

Overview :

The In-Game Hosts are integral members of the Toronto Blue Jays Game Entertainment team responsible for driving excitement and elevating the fan experience at every home game. For this position of Hype Host the ideal candidate is an energetic and dynamic professional who can deliver pre-scripted and ad-libbed work in a fresh and engaging manner. Candidates must have a passion for interacting with fans of all ages and a strong understanding and enthusiasm for the Toronto Blue Jays and baseball.

Responsibilities :

• Perform as Hype Host alongside Promotional Host at Blue Jays home games
• Attend pregame Production meetings with the Game Entertainment team
• Work independently to review scripts and develop creative engaging ways to bring energy and personality into each hit
• Collaborate with J FORCE and Mascots asrequiredfor in-game hits
• Host pregame programming for Jr. Jays Sundays andadditionalTheme Days outlined in the Promotions and Events schedule
• Engage large crowds with confidence entertaining and energizing fans of all ages
• Thrive in a fast-paced live environment adapting quickly and ad-libbing whennecessaryas a dynamic extension of the entertainment on the field
• Stay current on Toronto Blue Jays and Major League Baseball news andmaintaina thorough understanding of the game
