Change Management Specialist
Home Hardware has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Change Management Specialist . Reporting to the Manager, Operational Readiness Office (ORO), you will be a key player in our transformational journey by supporting the people side of change.
In this critical role, you will lead the development and execution of people-focused change management strategies and plans, along with your internal business and project partners, that support the delivery of our transformational strategic initiatives to ensure everyone at Home is ready to work in new ways at launch and beyond!
We are looking for someone who is a strong change management practitioner, excellent facilitator and influencer who builds long standing relationships and communicates effectively to all levels of the organization.

What you’ll do :
- Support and execute the ORO Target Operating Model (TOM) and recommend updates with developing trends.
- Support and execute on all aspects of Change Management including : Conducting Stakeholder Impact assessmentsDeveloping Change Management strategiesGuiding the development of communication, training, coaching, resistance and reinforcement strategies and plansSupporting and guiding on delivery of SOPs and Process documentation Conducting Business Value Measurements
- Be responsible for the creation and execution of an Integrated Readiness Plan (IRP) in partnership with other key internal teams (Communications and Learning).
- Partner with the EPMO to align the IRP with the Integrated Project Plan (IPP).
- Facilitate and build long standing relationships through effective communication to all levels of the organization.
- Identify pitfalls and potential points of challenge or change aversion. Recommend counterstrategies to mitigate or minimize potential issues.
- Apply expert knowledge of change management, organizational culture, and project delivery to business and growth initiatives and advise on best approaches to meet unique business requirements.
- Synthesize feedback from impacted stakeholders and adapt plans as necessary.
- Model change leadership. Coach and support sponsors, stakeholders, and business leads in their change roles.
What we’re looking for :
- 7+ years’ experience in change management execution with strong hands-on change management skills and experience working on large cross-functional projects and teams.
- Industry recognized Change Management Certification (Prosci, CCMP) required.
- Understanding of end-to-end processes in large organizations and the impact of new technology capabilities or functionality on business processes.
- Familiarity with process orientation with the ability to understand the benefits of a continuous improvement mindset. Understanding of SOP development and knowledge.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills. Able to establish effective rapport, collaborate and influence across all functions and all levels of the organization.
Able to influence without direct authority.
- Excellent communication skills. Respectfully and effectively sells recommendations and ideas.
- Strong facilitation skills. Structures and facilitates working sessions in small and large groups with peers or senior leaders.
Asks insightful questions that drive meaningful discussion and action.
- Methodical and comfortable in solving first-time business problems. Quickly grasps complex subject matter and explains it in a simple way that others understand.
- Creative thinker. Collaborates with others to test, learn, and arrive at creative solutions for the business that are meaningful and achieve desired impact.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data to arrive at meaningful action plans. Communicating insights in a way that resonates with the audience.
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, multi-priority environment.
