About the role :
Sun Life has an immediate requirement for a Senior Developer under the Contact Centre Innovation and Operations team (CCIO).
This team is responsible for solution design, solution delivery and application support. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and related AWS services. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable, and user-friendly Contact Center applications.
What will you do :
- Design, document, and implement contact flows, IVR systems, and routing strategies using Amazon Connect
- Develop custom Lambda functions to extend Amazon Connect capabilities
- Integrate Amazon Connect with other AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, and API Gateway
- Extend GenAI capabilities and patterns to contact centre business unit
- Implement and configure Amazon Connect Chat and other omnichannel features
- Develop and integrate custom CRM solutions with Amazon Connect
- Optimize contact center performance and ensure high availability
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for Amazon Connect implementations, provide on call support within a rotation schedule
- Stay up to date with the latest Amazon Connect features and best practices
What you need to succeed :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field3+ years of experience developing solutions with Amazon Connect and AWS servicesStrong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java)Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other relevant AWS servicesFamiliarity with contact center technologies and IVR systemsKnowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIsAWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer certification (preferred)Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesPreferred skills :
Knowledge of Amazon Polly for text-to-speech applicationsFamiliarity with Amazon Transcribe for speech-to-text functionalityExperience with Amazon Connect Wisdom and Contact LensUnderstanding of telephony concepts and VoIP technologiesWhat’s in it for you :
