KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
CUSTOMER
- Manage cross‑functional team of IT professionals to support assigned business segments / corporate functions, internal partners and stakeholder needs and requirements.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of metadata and reference data cataloging solutions using Collibra, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance standards.
- Oversee configuration and optimization of Collibra Data Governance and Data Catalog modules, including workflows, business glossary, lineage and dashboards.
- Promote data literacy and train teams on metadata management, reference data management practices and Collibra platform usage.
- Establish day‑to‑day management direction and define priorities in line with business goals and overall direction from Technology Leadership.
- Responsible for project delivery for the set of applications within scope, commissioning projects to be executed by Tech PMs.
- Communicate business vision, goals and portfolio priorities to team members (e.g., Application Owners / Development Managers, Business Systems Analysis, Platform / Service and / or Technology Project Managers).
- Develop impact assessments and manage assigned portfolio delivery schedule, periodically performing risk assessments to manage operational processes consistent across the portfolio.
- Monitor and manage Capacity Forecasting process compliance among Technology Project Managers and report on progress, status and overall health of the portfolio and individual applications.
- Assess change requests and issues across the portfolio and identify key items for reporting.
- Manage vendor relationships for own area and ensure timely communication and resolution of issues; monitor billings / expenses against contracts.
- Assist in the assessment of the scope and risk of projects; work with the client, project managers, and / or 3rd party vendors to develop broad project plans, budgets and deliverables.
- Work closely with IT leadership to ensure ongoing focus on reusability, scalability and enterprise‑wide solutions to maximize returns on the suite of products.

Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points for all ongoing projects within the portfolio to ensure delivery on time, within budget and meeting expectations.Embed metadata management practices in project delivery, including documentation of metadata standards and centralized cataloging.Implement data quality rules, profiling datasets and maintain lineage information for critical data elements (CDEs) using Collibra.Assess work plans and schedule impacts across portfolio, identify key schedule issues for reporting and escalation as necessary.Comply with well‑defined enterprise technology delivery practices and project management disciplines, including system requirements documentation, scope and cost estimates.Track major project deliverables; communicate updates; support initiatives intended at reducing time‑to‑market and containing costs.Ensure operational, reputational and intellectual risks are understood, and advise on minimizing risk and escalation where appropriate.Maintain knowledge of the competition, customer / industry trends and technology innovation; identify opportunities for research and suggest solutions as appropriate.Maintain high level of customer service and ensure commitments are met; recommend actions to enhance service levels through effective service level management practices and agreements.Keep informed of technology solutions initiatives and IT direction across TDBG to provide strong support to the businesses.Understand business requirements and apply knowledge to prioritize delivery of new and existing projects.EMPLOYEE / TEAM

Negotiate technology costs and scope in forecasting, planning process with subset of business clients within overall Segment CIO or key technology functional area.Advanced knowledge of assigned business and bank technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture, processes, applications, platforms, services) and managing people / projects.Expertise in Collibra platform configuration, integration with enterprise data platforms and automation of metadata and reference data ingestion and validation processes.Collaborate with Data Owners, Business Asset Owners (BAO), Technology Asset Owners (TAO) and Data Stewards to maintain metadata and resolve data issues.Knowledgeable of external competition, industry and market trends relating to own business.Manage multiple teams and / or projects with increasing complexity and broad scope (e.g., multi‑function within line of business).Work independently and autonomously in management of projects, teams and operational disciplines; develop strategic thinking / planning for execution of work plans with short‑ to medium‑term business perspective.Manage system enhancements, new releases or projects typically focused on a specific product / application of moderate scope and complexity.Lead a group of IT professionals (e.g., developers, analysts, specialists, administrators and project managers).Orchestrate development of resolutions, plans and strategies for operational advancement.Reports to the Sr. Manager.Experience & Education
Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.7+ years relevant experience.Effective communication in both oral and written form, bridging gap between business users and technical requirements.Demonstrated experience in metadata management, reference data management, Collibra platform administration and data governance frameworks.Proven ability to drive adoption of data governance tools and processes across business segments.Experience working directly with data and underlying usage; Microsoft Azure experience is a benefit.Working knowledge of Agile (SCRUM or KANBAN) methodology is an asset.Knowledge of data policy and governance principles.High degree of multitasking and / or prioritization may be required.Facilitate details and manage multiple customers / Lines of Business simultaneously.Who We Are
