We are Marigold Caregivers , a start-up based in Vancouver with a primary goal to connect parents looking for support for their child with the best caregivers who have experience working with children, or those interested in embarking on a professional career as an early childhood caregiver.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and care for children
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
• Tend to children’s emotional needs and social development
• Bathe and feed infants and children including changing diapers, dressing up and preparing nutritious meals and / or infant formula, as needed
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Take children to and from school and to appointments
• Administer first aid in emergency situations

Required skills :

• Good communication with excellent speaking skills
• Min. High School Diploma
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds
• Organized and punctual
• Trustworthy
• Must be able to provide a criminal record check

Preferred skills :

• Previous experience working and caring for children
• Valid CPR certification
• Valid First Aid Training
• Valid Driver’s License
• Knowing another language is an asset

Wages : $20 - $35 per hour, based on qualifications and work experience.
