Senior Project Manager - Complex Manufacturing

As a Senior Project ManagerDigital Operations you develop track and evaluate custom customeror specific projects / programs meeting deliverables / targets anddrive goals and objectives.

You may assist the managers andsupervisors to provide support and guide a large and diverse teamof professional technical support staff andcontractors.

Youalso create and manage complex budgets and business plans for unitsrelating to project development and implementation.

You areresponsible for the successful completion of the project(s) byproviding leadership strategically managing risk monitoringfinances and making sure that each phase of the project starts andends on schedule.

You will work with within the project s scope ofwork (SOW) or function specification documents (FSD) workingtogether along crossfunctional team within theorganization.

Yourresponsibilities willinclude :

Theprimary responsibilities and duties include but are not limitedto :

Planning

Thesuccessful individual of this role not only needs to plan his / herwork but also lay out the tasks for the team. You are required toforecast and determine the work that needs to be done for theproposed project.

Your responsibilitiesinclude :

• Preparingwork for the wholeteam
• Estimatingcosts
• Developingdeliverable schedules as a roadmap for the team (i.e. installsupply chain manufacturing commissioning salesetc.)
• Followingthe project in case there is a need to handle or supervise sometasks(lead)
• Reviewingthe project in depth to determine if everything is done accordingtoplan.

Setgoals

• Theincumbent is to set specific goals signed by the client and toachieve those assignedgoals.
• Theincumbent is in charge of reviewing the contractual conditions ofperformance determining the precision of the work handlingrequirements and deliverablesetc.
• Etablishgoals (i.e. how many hours / workers or types of supplies) areneeded.

Ontime

Ajob / project comes with a specific set of constraints and objectivesand timeframe in which everything needs to be ready.

Time iscrucial to meet the client s needs andsatisfaction.

Stay onbudget

• Projectsare critical accomplishments. Being cognizant of the project sbudget while planning the whole process and performing thework.
• Whenthe project starts you are required to ensure the crew / team doesn tgo above thebudget.
• Seecosts estimate compare and cut unnecessary costs to stay withinbudgetlimits.

Draftcontracts

Theincumbent will engage at some capacity severalgroups / contractors / teams to review the draftcontracts :

• Theengineer / architects
• Materialssuppliers
• Subcontractors(electricians install commissioning or serviceprofessionals)
• Otherthird parties are involved in theproject.
• Keepingall these parties covered with draft contracts is important forcompleting theproject.

Managerisks

Demonstrateskills to manage risk. Recognize the possible risks and communicateto the client / customer about on the exposed risks and to reach amutual agreement of how the risks should be handled orshared.

Otherresponsibilities

• Planand arrange visits to new potentialclients.
• Ensureevery client receives enough support and establishes exemplaryprofessional relationship with theclients.
• Developand maintain the clientnetwork.
• Coordinatesupport and conduct training asrequired.
• Coordinateand arrange staffing for different phases of projects and assignspecificroles / responsibilities.
• Otheradditional responsibilities and duties asassigned.
• Advanced degree preferred in a relevant field from an accrediteduniversity. - Project management certification preferred.
• Atleast 10 years of experience in a leadership position managing morethan one project. - 5+ years of experience working with businessstakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment - 1+years of previous experience with gathering requirements from theclient / business and documentation.
• 3+ years of experience withfull product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycleand various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle -Work experience in a manufacturing environment and signage industryan asset
