Responsibilities
and Key Accountabilities
- Perform tasks as requested efficiently and accurately, using standard methods and techniques;
- Aquatic, groundwater, and / or surface water investigations and monitoring;
- Safely conducting and leading field work, field data collection, and documentation;
- Providing technical expertise and / or support for aquatic, hydrogeologic, and / or hydrologic investigations and monitoring;
- Working with engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, biologists, data managers, and other environmental scientists to contribute to larger multidisciplinary projects;
- Tracking and reporting on field activity; and
- Preparing supporting documentation for reports, data checking & assessments.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in environmental studies;
- At least 5 years of practical experience in environmental monitoring;
- Class 5 driver’s licence;
- Experience in either the oil and gas industry or mining is considered an asset; and
- Familiarity with Argo operation would be beneficial.
