Description
Business Systems Analyst
Our client is searching for a Business Systems Analyst to join their team. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring that the Corporate Finance team has access to timely and relevant financial data.
A successful candidate will be a highly skilled and motivated functional analyst with experience with financial systems.
Your success will be defined by your ability to :
- Provide functional support and expertise in finance systems, collaborating with the business partners and maintaining training documentation for system functionality and financial consolidation and reporting processes.
- Provide project delivery support and financial consolidation process knowledge to contribute to the successful implementation and adoption of OneStream
- Configure finance systems to meet business needs, including system setup, user roles and permissions, workflows, and reporting structures
- Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of finance systems
- Develop and maintain documentation of finance systems configurations, processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with the IT teams and vendors to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations
- Collaborate with the Corporate Finance team and other relevant stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, and challenges related to the companies financial systems
- Analyze and troubleshoot finance system issues, working closely with technical teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
Your strengths include :
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
- 3+ years of working experience as a technical Business Analyst, application support, functional analyst or a similar role
- Working experience supporting, maintaining, and knowledge of financial business applications
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Working experience in developing business requirements, leading workshops and doing gap analysis
- Experience with system implementation projects, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing and deployment.
Experience with remote support for a geographically distributed organization
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with finance stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors
- The ability to understand complex finance processes and translate them into system requirements
- Accounting experience or a background in accounting principles is an asset
