Schedule
The successful candidates will be available to work 8-hour day and evening shifts, Monday - Friday with some weekend flexibility as needed.

Process
As a Pharmacy Student at Oak Valley Health - Markham Site, your primary role will include supporting the medication reconciliation process in various patient care areas of the hospital.
Your duties will include (but are not limited to) collection and documentation of Best Possible Medication Histories (BPMHs) and technical tasks related to medication distribution.

Performance
You will be trained by pharmacy team members, including pharmacy technicians and clinical pharmacists. You will also be responsible for completing projects, as assigned by your preceptor or delegate.

Qualifications
Currently a 3rd to 4th year student in a pharmacy program at university. Prior hospital experience is highly desirable. Well-developed organizational and prioritization skills;
working in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills with a patient care focus.
