As a Pharmacy Student at Oak Valley Health - Markham Site, your primary role will include supporting the medication reconciliation process in various patient care areas of the hospital. Your duties will include (but are not limited to) collection and documentation of Best Possible Medication Histories (BPMHs) and technical tasks related to medication distribution. 48_Performance Created with Sketch.Performance
You will be trained by pharmacy team members, including pharmacy technicians and clinical pharmacists. You will also be responsible for completing projects, as assigned by your preceptor or delegate.

Currently a 3rd to 4th year student in a pharmacy program at university. Prior hospital experience is highly desirable. Well-developed organizational and prioritization skills; working in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills with a patient care focus. Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards.
