About You

Main Responsibilities
- Lead our certification efforts with appropriate regulatory bodies.
- Design wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components (e.g. auto start / stop).
- Review and create electrical engineering plans to ensure adherence to design specifications and compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
- Select electronics equipment, components, or systems to meet functional specifications.
- Design electrical control systems, industrial automation systems, or electrical equipment, including control circuits, variable speed drives, or programmable logic controllers
- Compile and maintain records documenting engineering schematics, installed equipment, installation or operational problems, resources used, repairs, or corrective action performed.
- Calculate design specifications or cost, material, and resource estimates, and prepare project schedules and budgets.
- Collaborate with design team for improvements to existing and new products (from conception through production), manufacturing lines (including automation), etc.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in General, Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical or Process Engineering.
- Knowledge / understanding and demonstrable application of manufacturing (control, methods, automation) processes.
- Knowledge / understanding and demonstrable application of robotics, mechatronics, automation of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Technical writing of manufacturing documents (PFMEA, Process Flow, Control Plan, Work Instructions, and Checklists).
- Strong knowledge / understanding of small engine components (mechanical and electrical).
- Software experience (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
