Responsibilities :

The Senior Manager, Business Development investment, is primarily responsible for the direct management of a team of private bankers and assistant private bankers.

He or she plays an essential role in overseeing their performance and providing sales coaching. This team's mission is to provide the organization's priority clients with outstanding consulting services.

On a regional level, the Senior Manager, Business Development investment, has an important role to play in helping develop branch managers' skills and expertise in investments and sales coaching ("coach the coach").

In addition, he or she plays a key role in cultivating the knowledge and abilities of all the consultants in his or her market by working alongside them and providing targeted investment coaching.

The Senior Manager, Business Development investment, is instrumental to the success and achievement of the market-specific sales and investment growth objectives.

More specifically, the Senior Manager, Investment, contributes to the company's success in the market and the achievement of overall objectives by :

  • Building close relationships with the team, clients, and managers
  • Actively impacting the performance of the sales force through coaching
  • Promoting the "100% advice" approach
  • Working alongside market leaders to identify business opportunities

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field combined with 7 to 10 years of coaching, investment advising, and sales team management experience
  • Any combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Comprehensive investment knowledge
  • Mutual fund representative license (REC) holder
  • Financial planner or CFA (Certified financial analyst) designation an asset and / or in the process of completing it
  • Excellent knowledge of the Laurentian Bank branch network
  • Fluently bilingual (oral and written)

The Senior Manager, Business Development investment, must be willing to travel regularly to different branches within his or her market.

Qualifications Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matterswith internal and external parties in both languages.
