Responsibilities include :
- Guiding the Segment on its where to play and how to win choices to drive growth, improve profitability, and sustain competitive advantage globally and regionally
- Lead cross-functional teams in solving business problems using a hands-on hypothesis-driven approach :
- Lead from the front by taking on complex workstreams and providing thought leadership and hands-on support
- Guide and coach project team members in using a hypothesis-driven approach
- Manage projects and develop deliverables and executive presentations
- Frame discussion of findings and recommendations
- Assess organic and inorganic opportunities on multiple dimensions
- Support the strategic planning process and deepen strategic capabilities in the organization :
- Drive change designing and implementing projects to execute on strategic objectives
- Ensure that the business strategies clearly articulate the business choices, are well-defined, and lay out the talent and resource requirements
- Track execution of the long-term strategy through a select set of strategy-to-execution KPIs, synthesize implications to the strategic plan and recommend potential course corrections
- Actively develop talent, providing coaching and feedback to junior members of the team
- Anticipate market changes and assess their strategic and economic impact today and in 5-10 years
- Advise the senior leadership team on selecting the most attractive opportunities and acquisition targets to strengthen product portfolio and go-to-market capabilities
