Preventive Maintenance Technician - Saskatoon Construction & Forestry

Brandt is currently seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician for our Saskatoon Construction & Forestry location.

This individual will be responsible for completing on-site Preventive Maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites utilizing state of the art technologies and a new purpose built truck.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing all levels of PM services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner
• Identifying and reporting on additional items identified that require follow-up service work by a heavy duty technician
• Ensuring the accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for the benefit of customer reporting
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

• The successful candidate must be motivated, energetic, and have strong communication skills
• Candidates must be willing to work after-hours and / or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs
• A recent driver’s abstract will be required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Required Experience

• Candidates mechanically inclined are encouraged to apply
• Experience operating, servicing, and / or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment considered an asset
• Candidates with trade experience or a second- or third-year apprentice level are encouraged to apply
• Proven experience in contributing in a service-oriented environment working directly with customers and equipment operators are key assets
