ROLE SUMMARY
The ITProject Manager is responsible for managing IT projects on adaytoday basis using the Project Management Life Cycle process anddeliverables.
ROLERESPONSIBILITIES
Perform project management dutiesfor complex IT projects including those involving application buildprojects in accordance with PMLC and SDLC processes.
Theseobjectives include :
Perform daytodaymanagement of all project phases to ensure deliverables arecompleted on time and budget. Coordinate all project activitieswith IT project team members and business owners / stakeholders.
Track performance against objectives and develop correctivestrategies when objectives are not being met.
Create manage and update project charters schedules risk managementplans communication plans project budgets gate reviews and allother project management documentation.
Workwith project team members and management to secure resources andfunding.
Coordinate closely with projectstakeholders to define project scopes and schedules. Collaboratewith these stakeholders to understand business needs processes anddata sources.
Work with business analysts and architects totranslate these business needs into clearly documented detailedrequirements and functional specifications.
Provide regular status updates and maintain relevant metrics toprovide transparency on team performance.
Communicate with executive leadership to provide project riskanalysis status and requirements that may impact strategicdirection.
Stay abreast of AI trends andadvancements evaluating their potential impact and applicationwithin ongoing and future projects.
Ensurethat projects comply with audit requirements.
Identify and coordinate crossproject dependencies.
Perform additional projects and assignments asneeded.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
5 years ofproject management experience for application and data integrationprojects.
Detailed knowledge of projectmanagement and software development life cycle methodologies.
Proven experience managing midsized to largeIT integration projects independently.
Background in Commercial Insurance desired.
Strong communication and facilitation skills with an ability toeffectively manage crossfunctional team discussions.
Strong management skills with an ability to achieveresults in a matrix management environment.
Ability to translate business needs into IT deliverables.
Possess the ability to successfully applywaterfall agile and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Multidisciplinary information technologyfamiliarity with proven systems deployment experience.
Experience using Project and Portfolio Management tools(MS Project Planview SharePoint etc.).

Strong analytical abilities.

EDUCATIONREQUIREMENTS
B.A / B.S degree.
ProjectManagement Professional (PMP) is a plus but not required.
CPCU Designation or advanced degree is a plusbut not required.
