RCMsclient is looking to add an experienced IT Project Manager to theircurrent IT PMO Team.

The IT ProjectManager will be responsible for managing complex IT projects on adaytoday basis using the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC)process and related deliverables.

This role will involveapplication development and data integration projects fromrequirements definition through the SQA process.

The focus herewill be on strong PMLC experience in a waterfall environment as thedevelopment teams will be located either onshore or in EasternEurope.

No agile / scrum will be needed in this role.

This is a key role in support oftheir current AI initiatives and will be viewed as a strategic hirefor their team.

ROLERESPONSIBILITIES :

The IT ProjectManager will be responsible for providing oversight guidance anddaytoday (active) project management duties for complex IT projectsin accordance with our clients PMLC and SDLC processes.

These responsibilities will include :

Perform daytoday management of all projectphases to ensure deliverables are completed on time and budget.Coordinate all project activities with IT project team members andbusiness owners / stakeholders.

Track performance against objectivesand develop corrective strategies when objectives are not beingmet.

• Create manage and update project chartersschedules risk management plans communication plans project budgetsgate reviews and all other project managementdocumentation.
• Work with project team membersand management to secure resources and funding.
• Coordinate closely with project stakeholders to defineproject scopes and schedules. Collaborate with these stakeholdersto understand business needs processes and data sources.

Work withbusiness analysts and architects to translate these business needsinto clearly documented detailed requirements and functionalspecifications.

• Provide regular status updatesand maintain relevant metrics to provide transparency on teamperformance.
• Communicate with executiveleadership to provide project risk analysis status and requirementsthat may impact strategic direction.
• Ensurethat projects comply with audit requirements.
• Identify and coordinate crossprojectdependencies.
• Perform additional projects andassignments as needed.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS :

• 5 years of project management experience for applicationand data integration projects.
• Detailedknowledge of project management and software development life cyclemethodologies.
• Proven experience managingmidsized to large IT integration projects independently.
• Background in Property & Casualty (P&C)Commercial Lines insurance is a big plus but is notrequired.
• Strong communication andfacilitation skills with an ability to effectively managecrossfunctional team discussions.
• Strongmanagement skills with an ability to achieve results in a matrixmanagement environment.
• Ability to translatebusiness needs into IT deliverables.
• Possessthe ability to successfully apply waterfall agile and hybridproject delivery methodologies.
• Multidisciplinary information technology familiarity withproven systems deployment experience.
• Experience using Project and Portfolio Management tools(MS Project Planview SharePoint etc.).

EDUCATIONREQUIREMENTS :

• B.A / B.Sdegree.
• Project Management Professional (PMP)is a plus but not required.
• CPCU Designationor advanced degree is a plus but not required.
