PartnerStaffing iscurrently working with our client to find a Senior ContractsSpecialist for a contract lasting up to ayear.

Reporting to the Manager thisindividual will develop analyze negotiate and administer servicesor materials contracts. They will take a lead role in thecompetitive bid process including RFP development supplierevaluation and selection contract negotiation and award whileminimizing commercial and legal risk.

This individual will beresponsible for the development and execution of best practicesourcing and contracting strategies andinitiatives.

Responsibilities :

  • Sourcingvendors and establishing strategy and objectives forsourcing.
  • Managethe contract process from beginning to end. Consider the impacts ofthe contracts and advise on legal impacts. Manage changes anddisputes.
  • Collaboratewith teams and business units. manage supplier performance andestablish continuous improvementprograms.

Requirements

SupplyChain Management Professional (SCMP) or equivalent procurementcertification ispreferred.

  • Minimumof 7 years related experience with increasing levels ofresponsibility.
  • Workexperience increasing level of responsibility in strategic sourcingand SupplierManagement.
  • Projectprocurement experience in an EPC environmentpreferred.
  • Backgroundin electrical utilities industry anasset.
  • Abilityto workindependently.
  • Effectivecommunication and interpersonalskills.
