Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Scheduler to join our team! In this role you will get to utilize your scheduling skills and knowledge of Primavera 6 to help construct the Edmonton Valley Line West LRT.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Execute schedule project control plans in support of contractual requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with established WBS (Work Breakdown Structures)
  • Support the preparation of project reference schedules in collaboration with the team.
  • Ensure follow-up and integration of schedule changes once approved.
  • Record all schedule project-related changes, and follow up on approvals.
  • Document progress in cash flow curves, labor utilization curves, etc.
  • Monitor progress to verify if they reflect the planned value.
  • Prepare various types of reports on project progress, based on established requirements in terms of content and presentation.

What Required Skills You'll Bring :

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Technology or a combination of equivalent skills and relevant field experience
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Proven track record leading a team to success
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in similar positions in planning large infrastructure, heavy civil mega projects, or large metropolitan LRT projects
