Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a background in the construction industry to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of corporate finance principles.

Job Type : Full-time, Permanent

Salary :

$120,000-$135,000 per year

Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.

Perform account and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into financial performance.

Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and other tools for bookkeeping and reporting.

Perform job costing and manage inventory.

Provide account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support corporate finance initiatives and improve financial processes.

Requirements

CPA designation.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proven experience in accounting or financial services with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Proficiency in accounting software.

Knowledge of corporate finance concepts including budgeting, auditing, and account analysis.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines.
