Are you a creative visionary with a passion for translating marketing strategies into compelling visual stories? Blackline Safety is looking for a highly skilled Art Director to join our dynamic in-house creative team on a 12-month maternity leave contract.

In this role, you will create and manage designs ensuring all marketing outputs are on strategy. Working alongside copywriters, marketing strategists, video editors, and internal and external partners, you will lead creative strategy and thinking, delivering high-caliber content that resonates with our audience.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years’ experience in design, brand development
  • Degree or diploma with a specialization in graphic design
  • Proven experience in conceptualizing ideas and communicating effectively with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong conceptual and critical thinking skills with a superior understanding of B2B marketing
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Practical business experience that allows for a broader perspective on individual projects and their fit into overall communication efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to provide creative solution and effectively problem-solve.
  • Expert knowledge of current design programs, with capabilities in print, events, web, UX, and motion design; must understand all types of media for integrated campaign development
  • Experience with HubSpot CMS platform a plus

Responsibilities :

  • Develop innovative solutions to visually represent concepts.
  • Design and develop consistent on-brand and on-strategy content for digital and print mediums including trade-show booth and event graphics.
  • Engage with stakeholders, advising on strategies to reach target audiences and convey messages effectively.
  • Create graphics, design elements, and treatments that communicate compelling messages to drive action and conversion.
  • Serve as a 'big idea generator', providing expertise in graphic treatments required to support campaign objectives
  • Collaborative closely with marketing strategists and agencies on emerging brand strategies and visual communications.
  • Lead the concepting, designing and execution of visual materials and templates for integrated cross-channel initiatives.
  • Perform other design duties as required
