is a premier IT Staffing / Consulting organization and we are currently recruiting for a contract role for one of our premier client in Canada for

Security Engineer.

This is a Remote role and client is actively hiring for this position.

Role Details

Location : Remote

Employment Type : Contract

Duration : 6 Months +

Rate : $60 / hr - $80 / hr (depending on experience)

Security Requirement

Valid Secret-level security clearance is mandatory.

Role Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in a relevant field.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a software development environment with demonstrated expertise in :

Designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.

Proven experience navigating the Government of Canada Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) process for at least two (2) cloud-based applications developed within the past five (5) years.

At least two (2) years of experience within the past five (5) years implementing automated security scanning and security controls within CI / CD pipelines.

Hands-on experience applying modern application security principles to custom software solutions released within the past three (3) years.
