What To Expect At Tesla Toronto Automation, we design, build, and service custom, highly automated, high-volume manufacturing machinery to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. We are seeking an Apprentice Machinist for day shift positions.
Shift : Monday-Thursday, 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM & Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM (with occasional overtime as needed).
What You'll Do
- Machine parts to drawing specifications using manual equipment
- Prove out manufacturing processes on the floor with machinists and peers
- Collaborate with peers to provide input on design for manufacturability
- Machine complex components to tight tolerances under tight deadlines
- Use inspection and measurement tools to validate work
- Document machining processes and results as needed
- Participate in continuous improvement projects for the shop and Tesla
