Wage Range : $28.88 to $29.79 per hour (start rate is non-negotiable and in accordance with collective agreement requirements)

Hours : 37.5 Hours per Week

Shifts : Mon - Fri @ 04 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM or Tues-Sat @ 04 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM or Mon-Fri @ 07 : 30-15 : 30

Status : Temporary Full-Time (6 Months with the possibility of extension up to 12 Months)

Position Summary

As a member of the Operating Room (OR) Health Care Team the responsibilities of the OR Inventory Aide include :

• Performing transportation functions of equipment and supplies
• Supply replenishment in Pyxis
• Daily cycle counting of supplies in Pyxis
• Ensuring necessary inventories are maintained - management and replenishment of supplies
• Quality control of expired damaged or compromised product; providing responsive team-oriented support / maintenance for the equipment / supplies within the OR
• Communicates supply concerns to Inventory Supervisor surgical leadership team Logistics
• Working in compliance of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations reporting hazards deficiencies and contraventions of the Act in a timely manner
• Performing cross-functional duties as assigned and / or required
• Performing other duties consistent with the job classification as assigned and / or required.
